Chelsea White, our comedian, co-producer, videomaker, baker, and friend adds another great title:  writer for The Apiary.org.

We have an EXTREMELY strong line up for our March 20th show at Karma Lounge.  Kurt Braunohler is someone we’ve been trying to get on the show for a few months now, but he’s been too busy traveling around the world performing with his comedy partner Kristen Schaal of Flight of the Conchords.  In addition to performing live they also created the hilarious web series “Penelope Princess of Pets” which has been tapped for a pilot by the BBC.  You can watch webisodes here.

The rest of our lineup is extremely talented as well and it looks to be a show that will be packed full of comedy.  Probably more funny then you deserve, but we’re giving it to you anyway, because we’re just that nice.

If you weren’t already aware, Chelsea White, aside from being a great comedian and baker of cookies, is a formidable interviewer.

Matteson has started a new blog with Taylor Orci at www.shitpitch.com.  Bad ideas are everywhere. They exist because one person thought they had a good idea, and someone else agreed and gave them a lot of money to make it. Sh*tPitch is dedicated to those pitches that are…shit.

This week you can hear how the latest Air Bud movie “Space Buddies” came to exist.

Check out Matteson at the Hug Life show at Hugs bar in Williamsburg at 8pm (map).  He’ll be performting along with Tim Molloy, Sean Donnelly (NYC Alum), Matteson Perry, Nick Cobb (NYC Alum), and John Anderson.  The show is run by Luke Cunningham (and others), who played the New Young comedians show in October.

Sean Patton, who killed at the New Young Comedians show on October 22nd, was recently named one of the Top Emerging Comics by askmen.com.

See the article here.  We’re not surprised to see his name on the list, as he’s one of our favorite comics.  His mixture of the dark and the absurd makes for a sense of humor that is one of the most unique on the scene today.
