November 12th Show

Headliner

JL Cauvin

J-L made the semi-finals of the 2005 Boston Comedy Festival, was named the runner up for the 2006 Belly Laughs Competition in NYC and was made a 2006 DC Comedy Fest participant. J-L also recorded his debut CD “Racial Chameleon” in April of 2006. Also he is really tall, and is, both ethnically and musically, a cross between Riverdance and the Fugees.

Performers

Josh Comers

Josh is a comic & writer living in NYC. You can view a sample of his writing in that last sentence. His jokes have appeared on the Late Late Show and SNL’s Weekend Update. Then there’s his blog, Jokes That Won’t Matter Tomorrow. He’d be glad to share more about himself with you over lunch sometime.

Mike Lawrence

Mr. Lawrence considers himself an acerbic, witty comic who tackles those icky social topics that no one else likes to touch. Or so he says. He also says he’s attractive, so honestly, it’s hard to believe anything that he comes up with.

Jamie Lee

She has opened for Zach Galifianakis, produces a monthly show in the East Village (Diamonds in the Fluff), is currently shooting a Web-series and still finds time to make it to her day job. She is also a witchy woman, as evidenced by the picture above (the moon is in fact in her eyes). Check out her website for more mesmerization.

Taylor Williamson

Taylor has been on TRL, the Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and has performed at the Just for Laugh Comedy Festival in Montreal. He was called a “Name to Watch” by the New York Magazine (this is much more prestigious than being called a “Person of Interest” by Homeland Security). Check him out at his eponymous website.
